Jake Friedrich I was lucky enough to play with this band for their first show. Needless to say, every time I've seen them since, I've been blown away. Hoping to see them again sometime very soon! Favorite track: Supéro.

If these walls could speak, I'd dread the sound cause it's all too quiet when you're not around. Wherever you are, can you hear me now? I hope you're proud.

"It's a dog eat dog world" he said. "Better get out while you can or this world will eat you alive." In a world i've grown to love, passion's the only way that you'll survive. So fight for your life. Now here's a question: What's hidden behind the hymns that our heart's beat along too? I'll fight for this I'll stand behind this Cause what the hell is music anymore? I'll fight for this I'll stand behind this You better know what you're fighting for. Now you say you wanna change the world, but recently it's just been changing you I won't let myself fall victim too another heartless melody that sounds a lot like mal intent. I'll fight for this I'll stand behind this Cause what the hell is music anymore? I'll fight for this I'll stand behind this You better know what you're fighting for This world will make you break you It'll tear you apart Just don't lose sight What the hell is music? What the hell is music anymore? I'll fight for this I'll stand behind this Cause what the hell is music anymore? I'll fight for this I'll stand behind this You better know what you're fighting for

So take it back in time you had me going crazy in my own mind. Asking why did it get to this? I thought we did it right You said we'd be fine But I was a fool, you made it a game I could't wait to play Place your heart on the line with good intentions, right? & Now i'm losing control of what I thought I knew You made me question who I was I watched you give up on me I won't wait for 'sorry' i've had enough shame for the fool that I was made But what to do when all the walls are closing in, Do I run away just to let you win? I won't let it get to this It was just a game Take back every word you said that you used as your alibi to hide the truth and play the victim one more time Feeling sorry for yourself wasn't enough You made me question who I was I watched you give up on me I won't wait for 'sorry' I've had enough shame for the fool that I was made But what to do when all the walls are closing in, Do I run away just to let you win? I won't let it get to this When you laid rest in this bed you knew the way's you'd fuck with my head These sheet's were made with lies & regrets You're the type of face I'd love to forget You've got a handgun loaded with excuses & it's pointed right at my head but I don't think you have the nerve to pull the trigger Why put the blame on me? Was I not all I was supposed to be? Please take this for what it is I hope you feel sorry for all of this After all we've been through & all i've said I'd love to hear you say 'you deserve this' Are you hurting? Was it worth it? I know you deserve this It was just a game, this wasn't my intent I know you deserve this

Saying nothing was your best bet Your actions said enough So go ahead & give up something for someone who did nothing for you & after everything, Im sorry to say kid You let me down I still see the light you never saw in yourself but it's burning out You're wearing down but don't give up I know you're afraid to be alone & I can tell where your heart is Isn't 23 too young to give up now? Do you know who you are when this world get's too much to bear? So don't count your losses yet Don't burn your bridges when there's a hand reaching out to guide you Loosen up the rope that's kept you tied down & see where this world will take you & after everything, Im sorry to say You let me down, you're wearing out but you don't have to fall I know you're afraid to be alone & I can tell where you're hear it Isn't 23 too young to give up now? Do you know who you are when this world get's too much to bear? This is the beginning, it's not the end Open up your eyes & see beyond C-Street

Stay afloat when the weight of the world get's too much When you're falling, pick yourself back up Distance was never the issue feeling distant was Are you here? Cause you've been gone for too long It just seem's like I'm in the wrong place at the right time swimming with the currents, taken by the tides What I would give if I could feel you here Guide me, I need you now I'm reaching out for you but the distance seem's to be too much cause I can't always be that strong on my own When the weight of the world get's too much lift me up with hope that I'll figure this out I swear this can't be all there is There's more I've been waiting for With every word you become farther With every fall I feel smaller I've been my own weakness for far too long & an outcast in my own mind I know there's more than this Open your eye's Realize it's up to you to choose to grow from this To the mistakes I've made, for when I fall When weakness feel's stronger than strength: Remember that "nothing worth having come's easy." Thats what you said to me So i'll learn from every failure I've had cause I know I am stronger than that I'll stand tall & wear my failures on my sleeve Cause that's what made me who I am If you could see me now, I think that you'd be proud So i'll keep pushing to better myself I'll do this for you If these wall's could speak, I'd dread the sound cause It's all too quiet when you're not around Wherever you are, Can you hear me now? I hope that you're proud Just tell me you're proud of me now
